Senator Mitch McConnell's face was recently described as 'a cabbage patch doll, gone terribly wrong!'
Pretty hard to disagree with that assessment.
One wonders how particular people manage to end up long term politicians. Do the good folks in Kentucky ever consider changing the guard, if you will? This guy looks like he needs to come out of the game. Pronto.
And all to make way for some more stunning Republican entries into various political contests. In all of the past fifty years of political chumming, the total sum of obvious lunatic candidates is completely outweighed by this one year's mid-term representatives. Never before has been assembled such a group of ill-informed, bigoted, idiotic miscreants than was before us in the mid-term elections.
It pains one to even mention the names, and truly, as most of them engage with recorded media, they continue to be their own worst enemy uttering one inanity after another. Surely, the screeching sound of Ms. Angle's 'man up, man up, man up Harry Reid!' will forever be etched into the all time 'bad sounds' hall of fame.
And O'Donnell's continued public display of ignorance and all around bad form. She can barely address the issues, and if required to develop a reasonable policy arguement, tends to resort to loudly uttering pablum.
"Is the separation of church and state really in the Constitution?' And, 'sure I could date a Democrat---if he didn't mind being wrong a lot of the time.'
How's that for fair and balanced? Stay tuned. More entertainment is certainly on the way..
That's the signpost up ahead— your next stop, the Twilight Zone.
