Alliance For The Disabled was established for the primary reason to identify and disseminate valuable information to disabled individuals, injured workers seeking gainful re-entry into the labor market, and retired people needing additional income. This is being accomplished through extensive Internet research.  The company blog is called VocationHelp.  Click here to view the research.

To date, many hundreds of Internet based income generating programs have been investigated to determine viability and credibility.  As well, an enormous database is being built which includes information relating to medical, legal, and insurance issues endemic to this group of the US population.

Additional assistance planned consists of developing interviewing skills and resume writing, and utilizing the Internet to maximize personal potential. The results will be published in an e-book at no charge to the individual.  The book is scheduled for release in early Autumn, 2008.

Managed project to project marketing efforts working primarily with emerging technological companies.  Developed the only third-party vendor relationship in the US with the banking industry's watchdog, the National Automated Clearinghouse Association.  Responsible for the development of various successful strategic business alliances, and marketing material including the introduction of electronic transaction technology, saving the largest insurance company in California over 25 million dollars annually.

Vocational rehabilitation counselor working directly with clients within the California Worker's Compensation system.  Developed individual on-the-job training programs, wrote resumes, and served as liaison between the injured worker and the insurance carrier.  Achieved near perfect record regarding job placement of clients. 

Advised and counseled individuals who had developed drug addictions due to long term injuries and/or personal choices to frustrations and family dissolution.

March 1986 to April 1990

American River Hospital/CPC Sierra Vista Hospital

Full time counselor working in psychiatric hospitals.  Directly involved with treatment plan writing, implementation, and counseling procedures.  The patient population disorders included a wide range, from Schizophrenia to Borderline Personality Disorders.

Many hospitalized patients were also addicted to narcotics which led to further mental health issues.

Drug awareness and treatment were an integral part of overall planning toward discharge.

Worked as a successful employment counselor, wrote hundreds of resumes and letters of inquiry, then was promoted to recruiter specializing in the hospitality industry in the Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington areas.  Responsible for recruiting Director of Cordon Bleu Chef School in Portland.

Prior business experience

Prior to 1980, experience included various management positions in restaurants and hotels, and ownership of a full service restaurant in Bremerton, Washington.
